As a person who often have too many tabs or application open, I always wanted a versatile application to include a lot of functionality in one place in a none invasive way. I based the design on a lot of functions which I personally would like to see. The project is still very much in development, and will likely continue to be, as I envision many functions and mini programs that would be beneficial to implement into a add on UI application. At this stage, the UI is equipped with a clock, timer, search bar, and in development sticky notes. In the functions in queue are a manager UI, the ability to store sticky notes content, and a to-do list function.
Project Highlights
A in development UI that includes mini programs to speed up workflow and does not utilize additional tab space. For example, when having more than a few application open, it quickly fills the task bar, but not all all of them are actively being used. Taking inspiration from the windows 10 native timer and the likes of sticky notes applications, I find myself desiring more applications to have the freedom to be minimized, sticks on top, and additionally, not take away my task bar or tab space. This the main motivation behind developing this application, to speed up work flow in a non-invasive way.
-
Clock: functional but in development (plan on visual changes and providing more customizability)
-
Timer: developed
-
Search bar: developed but not optimized (plan on implementing API for additional customizability)
-
Sticky notes: in development
-
overall UI: have core function such as minimizing, tab management, overall aesthetic implemented, but is still optimizing.
